About Lincoln Arts Center
In 2018, Rick and Doris Kennay of Kennay Farms donated the old Lincoln Elementary School to VCCT. With the support of the community, including all four local banks, the city of Rochelle, a number of generous donors, and the help of volunteers, the building was converted into the Lincoln Arts Center and officially opened in 2021. Today, the Lincoln Arts Center is home to Vince Carney Community Theatre. In addition the venue is available to rent for a wide variety of purposes.
Spaces for Rent
We have a variety of spaces available for rent, including a theater, art gallery, and classrooms. Our spaces are perfect for performances, exhibits, workshops, lectures, and other arts-related events. We take pride in providing a welcoming and well-equipped environment for artists and performers to showcase their talents.
Community Theater
The Lincoln Arts Center is home to Vince Carney Community Theater. VCCT offers a diverse range of performances throughout the year, including plays, musicals, concerts, comedians, and more. Our theater is run by volunteers who are passionate about bringing the arts to our community.
